Schools For Gambia

We do not know the names of everyone who has donated money or items to our charity, but those we are informed of will always get a mention on one of the appropriate web pages. If, after having read through the website, you think you can help us with any of the projects mentioned, please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you think our website is lacking in the way we represent or promote matters, we would appreciate hearing from you - we are always open to constructive criticism. Do you have any good or unusual suggestions for raising donations - money, teaching aids, computers and computer peripherals, we would love to hear from you. As has already been mentioned previously in this site, we are 100% voluntary. No one receives any payment, monetary, or in kind, for anything that they do - the only outlays are postage, and fuel for the charity vehicle which is based in Farafenni.

We are a registered charity, and although our founder Mae Winterton, visits The Gambia so frequently that by law she is allowed to claim travel expenses from the charity, she does not! Everyone of our members and associates who travel to The Gambia, do so at their own expense - travel, accommodation, and food.

The following pages list the people who have either donated to the charity, or have undertaken a fund raising task on our behalf. Each and everyone of them has our greatest appreciation, and a big thank you from all the people in The Gambia, whose lives this dedication has improved.
